American Survivalist started in 2020, run out of Massachusetts. US owned and operated, built by people who actually use this stuff.

We build our own gear because too much of what's out there is made to a price point instead of a standard. Thin ferro rods. Soft aluminum strikers. Gear that looks the part right up until the moment it has to work.

So we started building it ourselves. The 5-inch ferro rod, rated for 15,000 strikes, is our first house product. It's the start of a line, not the end of one. Everything we put our name on has to clear one bar: would we stake our own lives on it. If the answer's no, it doesn't ship.

Alongside the gear, we give away a full library of survival guides, free. Fire, water, shelter, food, first aid. A prepared community is the whole point.
